Greetings Gather Folk:

I am the owner of four groups.  They are Chateaux Gathereaux,  G.R.I.T.S. (Girls Raised In The South), Mariana's Luziana and The Pregnant Onion Club.  Below is a link to each group. I am also adding the name of the featured article in each group.  Please join if you feel your articles fit the group guidelines.  What groups do you own?  Please let us know the name of the featured article or articles.  Thank you. No thank you Miz Sue D. because there are so many groups and I like the active ones - this is a good way to find out which are which and a way for everyone to show off their featured articles. I absolutely love Toni V's story The Story of Moon Rock...the imagery was gorgeous as well as the story itself. Salud.

I know Mariana! Toni is amazing. Her property is magical, and her writing and photos are superb. I am so glad I found her, and am happy to show her off. I am also quite proud of myself for pulling off the links in comments. It is a new trick I learned. Pretty good, eh?

Sue D. you're precious - I had to get the silver fossil to do my links - you wouldn't believe the mess I came up with lol....Yes, Toni is wonderful and I like her already - she just joined my network - oh and one of these days I have to learn how to do links - he is sposed to write down the steps - lol...Salud.

I swore I was never going to start a group. I really don't go to groups to read things. I just read from my friends. I know who writes things I like.

On my first gatherversary, I made my only group. It's like an anti-group group. That's all I ever did with it. I never invited anyone to join. A couple of people have found it without me. Including me, it has a total of 4 members.

I think that's funny.

I have 2 groups...Food Finds in America, and Parenting Adult Children. I am a bad group owner, I almost never even look at the groups (hanging my head in shame). I left you a note about the molasses, but you will be more likely to see it here...do you just eat a T. each morning, can I put it in my tea? I did read that it might help with migraines, and I like it...so, I might as well try it! I couldn't find it at the store today, but I will be able to get some on our trip south. Can't hurt...and I appreciate all suggestions that are natural.

Miz Sue - I take a t-spoon a day but you can put it in water - actually I just chugalug it out of the bottle - it's hard to find except at good health food stores not GNC...I wrote an article on it years ago - you'll be surprised how quickly your headaches will go away - you definitely probably need more calcium and magnesium...thanks so much. I created two fan clubs, but the content and features are moderated by the people they honor:

I'm a charter member of Ina's group. I loved the title.

Mine are Gather Geezers which I don't have any control over the content settings until Mary Anne F fixes it. The most recent featured article is:

I don't have any groups as I feel I barely have time to participate in the groups I am a member of. Thanks for the referrals to these articles. I had already read Bobs. The Golden Farm article is so educational and fascinating. I bookmarked that and will visit the website to learn more later as someone just showed up at my door.

Hi Mariana and all you group owners.
I have a problem with "featured articles"
.
Do you have to do something to get them featured? I mean like add a ertain tag?
Does he/she announce the featruerd article?
Does the group owner say why he/she chose a certain article?

I've been adding a given tag as required by certain group and I never know who was chosen and why. That kind of takes any motivation to post to that group away.
What does everyone say?

Fred - I just pick different articles about every two weeks. If you want one featured in one of my groups, please let me know and I'll feature it - I guess you're a member of Chateaux Gathereaux huh? The other clubs are kinda girly - lol. Many group owners do not announce the featured articles but I like to let folks out there know about certain articles. I don't normally say why I choose an article, it will be evident by the content of the article. I don't have tags - you just post. Thanks Fred. You're wonderful Salud.
