We're a small town - so nothing big & flashy to be found here.

Legion members started the parade off.

They were followed by a marching band.

And then we had a lot of groups in red t-shirts - most of them have Support Our Troops on the front of them


It's a Chrysler - just like my family had when I was about 14.

All of the advertising for the parade told everyone with a lawn tractor to come on out and Support Our Troops. 


bottom guy there must not have had time for breakfast - he brought it along.

There were plenty of fire trucks, complete with sirens.
Back at the Legion, the ending point for the parade. The man with the red sash is my hubby's boss.
The Legion was cooking hot dogs and hamburgers for all.


This little girl had the best decorated bike, I thought... I don't know if they were giving prizes, but she would definitely be my pic!

The lemonade stand; all proceeds were going to the OSPCA, according to the flyers.
