This hospital has been bombed with phosphorous weapons providing the excuse that Hamas was firing from it against Tsahal.
In fact this is the report from the www.helpdoctors.org who has sent doctors to help civilians over there and who deny strongly that any Hamas firing from the hospital took place.
Some, as Bruce K., have stated that the use of phosphorous weaponry was not "illegal".

I'm so sorry to hear about this. First it was the U.N. Refugee Center Compound. Now this. When will it end? I do blame Hamas too though. The fault lies on both sides and the people suffer.
Presently in Europe we never saw so many anti-semitic and anti-Arabic popular movements, due to this propaganda. And the real problem is that such a propaganda deserves Israel and achieves exactly the contrary of its aim:
When Israel bombs schools, then the UN and then a hospital with always the same excuse, which may be the reality when the school, but becomes questionable when the UN is concerned and absolutely "illegal" (if war can be legal) in regard to the Geneva Convention (as torture is) there is something fishy in Danish Kingdom.

There is a lot of real discussion that could take place about this issue,
like what are children doing outside, or civilians. The old question
of why Hamas fires rockets from hospitals and schools, but since
the posters that do say things are speaking nonsense, like:
> Presently in Europe we never saw so many anti-semitic and
> anti-Arabic popular movements, due to this propaganda.
Gilbert, you are old enough to know better, if you are that old,
if that is your real picture and since you claim to be a Jew.
Wonder why people are getting sick of this, why don't the Arabs
solve it, it is them that refuse to allow land that they thing belongs
to Islam to go to Israel even though they well know Jews lived
in the area for 3 thousand years from the archaeological digs.
Nevermind, I am sure you'll dispute that in some way too.
quote me correctly please.
The use of any of these weapons is awful, I would prefer
that no weapons be used. I think it would be great if the
IDF could arrest the Hamas terrorists and take them to
jail.
I don't see any need for Hamas to have rockets if they
believe in a peace process actually.
But there are phosphorus weapons used for creating
smokescreens, and there are anti-personnel weapons.
Israel says they have not used anti-personnel weapons.
I have seen reference to articles that say Hamas has
phosphorus weapons to, but not of what sort or where
they have been used.
What is legal in war is another BS subject, how can you
discuss that? Most of the world wants landmines to be
outlawed ... well, what else is an IED or a booby-trap
that are being used all over Gaza to kill Israeli troops?
Do you think Hamas IEDs and mines ever catch
innocent Palestinians? Do you think we would ever
see that if they did, or they would take blame for it?
