Can someone tell me how gather points are collected

views: 28 | comments: 8

I don't know what I am missing, but I am commenting and rating and it doesn't look like I am getting credit for them. I have looked throughout this site but can not find an explanation as to how many ratings make 1 point, or comments needed for a point, etc. Can someone tell me how this works, or give me the link. I'd really appreciate it.

Look up Rob Appell, Vera. He just wrote an article on this. His advice is click on peoples' posts (among other things).

I am as stumped as you. I will have to go read the article. I comment, and post, and comment some more. The points slowly add up, but not very quickly I find.

Pageviews! It's all about pageviews.

Leaving comments itself don't get you points, but it does get people to come look at your own posts and thereby get your points.

Good question. Nobody knows. You get points for commenting and for comments on articles you write and maybe a few other things. You don't know how many points for doing what.
