When I was about 5 I remember leaving our chuch Christmas Eve Service. We lived out in the country. I remember getting almost home and it started snowing. It was so beautiful. The feeling I remember is even though it was snowing and things were cold. I remember how warm I felt with my parents and my little brother. What does Christmas mean to you. What feelings do you remember? What about the smells of Christmas.Do you live in the north or south? I am from the south so not too many snow days. Tell me somethings you remember.

It's not a fantastic memory...but one that makes me smile remembering him. He passed away in 2000. It's a nice memory. :)
I love the image your memory evokes LaRae. :)
NOTHING BUT TREE IN LIVING ROOM
What a wonderful story Patricia. :) Warmed my heart and reminded me to call mine today to let her know how much I love her (she's 82). I agree Holidays do bring back memories of the ones we lost. You have such a wonderful memory with the robe and your Mother. :)
And now each Christmas is so very special because she spends them here with me.
Even the Christmas when a tornado went through my mobile home park on Christmas day!
I remember the snow drifts being taller than my dad's truck, so that had to be about 6/7 foot tall. We grew up on a dairy farm. We couldn't have christmas until the milking, feeding the cows and calves was finished. Those were some early mornings, 4 am
pay it forward group~
PLAY HERE!!
one year we did a little skit where the kids in my class were supposed to be shepherds discussing their day when the angel (me) came and told them "For unto you is born this day..." when I left the stage, one of the kids (they were all about 4 or 5) was supposed to get up and say, "Come, let us go see this thing which the Lord has told us about". Instead, I left the stage, this little guy jump up and shouts, "Come on! Let's go see the baby! " and runs off the stage. I busted up laughing, but when I think about it, it was probably more like that then the quiet way we rehearsed it !
