Announcing... Fiction Readers' pick for August:
Up Pops the Devil by Angela BensonWilford "Preacher" Winters served two years in jail and has now re-entered society, determined to be a law-abiding citizen. But his life on the outside is complicated by the women to whom he's returning. His live-in girlfriend Tanya, the mother of his two sons, likes the high life and doesn't want to settle for less. His sister Loretta was his silent partner in his illegal activities and she's kept everything going while Preacher was incarcerated, and she's willing to do anything to get him back at the helm. His former girlfriend Serena is married now to one of Preacher's best friends, who doesn't know about their past. And then there's Natalie, with whom his burgeoning relationship is shaken when Preacher's past sins come back to haunt him.
As Preacher comes to learn, sometimes you have to give up what you want in order to move forward. With this novel, Angela Benson delivers a powerful, juicy, and moving story of sin, temptation, and redemption.
This is a great one! Angela Benson's novels feature strong female characters and a couple cads (in the most charming way). The book is hilarious and heartwarming, but also a great book club pick as it's a story of hope and redemption.

Okay, here goes. I google the title of my new novel to see if anybody's talking about it.
Want me to tell you another secret?
Okay.
A lot of authors do this so I'm not alone.
Still doesn't mean I'm not strange though. (smile)
Good luck to all you entrants. I wish each of you could win copies of Up Pops the Devil.
