Christmas Past and Present (the kids are growing to fast!)

Another year is quickly coming to an end.  I was looking at the old christmas photos, surprised how fast the children are growing.  Well, not really surprised but struggling with the reality my babies are growing up so fast before my eyes. My best memories of childhood are of Christmas.  It is such a magical time, especially for the children.

Our family tradition is making gingerbread houses.  Lots of fun, we always hope the house gets more candy than the children.  But I think the saying goes "one candy for the house, one candy for me!"

                   Christmas morning 2006, Santa brought sleeping bags.

 We just finished trimming the tree 2006.  Little brother can fit on sisters lap.  Not for long, that boy is growing so fast 2 1/2yrs and big sis is a handful (5 yrs).

December 2007, six and three and a half years.  My little guy is sprouting up so fast!  When we visit big sisters Kindergarten class, he is the same size as half of her classmates.  He is so tall, I guessing he will be 6'3''.  Even though he looks like a big boy, this Christmas is the first that he is learning and really understanding all of the reasons we celebrate!
