I published two articles yesterday, but I flagged them myself for mature audiences because they deal with adult issues. I assure you there is nothing obscene about them. They are about violence in schools and Clarence Thomas' new book. I just didn't want children to open the articles and be reminded of school shootings, and sexual harrassment as it relates to Clarence Thomas seemed to me to be an adult issue.
It seems that the flags have discouraged some from reading the articles, and some may have security measures in place to not receive anything with adult content. If you would all please be so kind as to read and comment on these articles, despite their flags, I would be most appreciative. I am most anxious to get readers' responses to my school shootings article.
What guidelines do others use regarding when to flag your own article?
Thanks so much for your kind consideration and input.
