And yes of course it's snowing

But it is New Years Eve

And I've something up my sleeve

There are wishes there for you

To make you happy if you're blue

To make you rich if you are poor

All your needs be met, and more

My love is tucked in there of course

And I'm sending it along

I hope this New Year brings Peace

I know you join me in this song

So Happy New Year all my friends

Enjoy Happiness and good Health

I'm very lucky there myself,

And I want to share my Wealth

MY gran always carried a soft, cotton handkerchief up there, up her sleeve,
For wiping away tears of laughter, or smudges on a baby's face.
(And she always carried a thimble in her apron pocket, for thunking stubborn kids heads, mending, or stitching on a patch.)

...and we love you right back. You're lucky you're not here...or we'd be going out dancing tonight. I'd tell you, 'Come on, toots. Hike up those knickers and let's cut a rug, baby!' You'd have to hike them up with over a foot of snow and still coming down. 5 degrees with a wind chill of -20. Being a trooper, I 'forced' myself to go out to dinner and drinks after that. The bar was open 'til 4 AM, but I was good and came home before then.
