Last year the Humane Society of Manatee County held it's first annual Paws In Motion Walk A Thon. My dog Bailey and I signed up right away!! We raised a few hundred dollars for the Humane Society, and we are going to do it again this year!!
It was an awesome event! The Humane Society was able to raise $35,000 last year!! This year they have a special website where people can make donations as well!!
I know that times are tough, and the economy sucks, so it may be a little harder to raise money this year, but I am still going to try!!

If you know anyone that can donate to the Humane Society, they can do it right on the website, and the money goes directly to the Humane Society!!
There were hundreds of people at the walk last year. It was so wonderful to see the community pull together as they did! Bailey and I had a great time walking, and they had plenty of water fr both adults and humans, as well as healthy snacks that were donated to the Humane Society!! I had all of my photos from last years walk in my virus ridden computer, so I can't share them with you, but I will be sure to take plenty again this year! The walk takes place on May 17th!

Humane socieities are the great charities. We must take care of all God's creatures.
