Yesterday we got Maddie's kindergarten photos back. I was actually presently surprised when I saw her photo. I am not big on school pictures in the first place, probably because mine were terrible all through gradeschool. My brother and I would come home with pictures that were not lined up properly, our eyes would be closed, or they were taken way after lunch time and our hair was all messed up. Many of the photos looked as though someone had pushed us through a cattle line followed by "Next." My Mother, god bless her, would love every photo know matter what it looked like. They were proudly displayed in the hallway, for anyone to see when they came over to our house.
I was nervous as I opened her photos, due to my past experience with class photos. I was very happy with what I saw.

Remember, this is a photo of a photo. I looked............. her hair wasn't messy, and she was actually lined up pretty good, her eyes weren't closed. She had a cute half smile. I think I told her about five times that I really liked her picture throughout the evening and she finally said, "I know Mom, you think it's adorable," in sort of a smirky sarcastic tone.

I had only ordered the cheapest package, because you had to pay beforehand no matter what the picture looked like. We got this package for $20 and I thought it was an okay deal. The little photos are for her to exchange with her friends at school.
Anyway, just wanted to share her kindergarten picture with my Gather pals. I thought they were adorable, or maybe I am just turning into my mother.

on the other hand you got a great deal. My kids' school packages are $12 for 2 5x7's, thats it no others. Jessica's VB pics were $40 and all we got was 2 5x7 and 8 wallets.
What a cutie.
I'm like you when it comes to school pictures. You never know what you're going to get and the prices aren't all that great! I've always just ordered the magnet set in the fall and the class photo in the spring.
So far, all the photos have turned out great which is surprising to me! LOL!
Thanks DD.
One of my favourite pictures of my youngest (now) is of the year she decided to take one of her elastics out - and that is how they took the picture; one side up, one side down.
At the time I was not so impressed about it!
