I just got home from a trip to Boston. I noticed a few changes around here. While I was in Boston I stayed with my Mom. Who says that you never can go home again. She put a curfew on me and I had to be home each night by 9 p.m. and she said no boyfriends either. Can you all sing "Let's Do the Time Warp"
At one point in the visit I helped my Mom clean out her kitchen. Do people really use kitchen shelf paper still? Yes they do if they are from Boston. So here I was high up on a step stool throwing away deadly boxes of cake mixes that had expired in the 70's. I called for my Mom to come over and loudly exclaimed that the 50's had called and they want their kitchen back. I am glad to be off restriction and back home. So what has everyone been up to?

As for Boston, it's one of my favorite cities. AND I found a great consignment shop on Newbury Street! :)
I go to Boston almost every six months or so. Next trip is in August.
Welcome back!
Glad you had fun. Yup there have been more changes. I'm still here hanging in there.
Curfew...
Clean out the kitchen...
Been there, done that, lol!
the 5o's called and they want their kitchen back, that is funny!
I went to Winnepeg, and came back to the States and milked a cow.

It was much better when my Dad was staying at my home at the end of his life, he had a heater in his room and I could accommodate everyone. At his house it was his rules.
I think people of his generation liked to majorly control things. When I was in my mid 40's and we moved down here he actually drove over to the house we were going to rent to check it out and wound up talking to the owner who was getting it ready. It was like I was 5 years old all over again...him thinking I was making poor choices, but in away it was nice he cared.
There's no place like home.
