The Waiting is the Hardest Part

Gather is exhausting...

I only have two friends here(by design), so I use my group feed to view content.  Well, most times, I cruise right along giving my page views to members of Views-R-Us and Viewmasters with no problem.  But now and again, I click the "next" link and I see this in my status bar:

I wait a bit, then get up to get a drink and a snack, and come back only to see:

I go empty the dishwasher, run down to the garage to throw some laundry in, empty the dryer and fold the clothes, only to come back and see:

So then I go mow, rake, and trim the yard, take the recyclables to the center, run to the grocery store to get food for the week, and pick up the dry cleaning, only to return and see, (you guessed it):

Then that progress bar finally starts moving, getting my hopes up for more posts, pictures, and videos to view and what do I see:

That's right, out of all the thousands of posts published to the groups of which I am a member, and after all of that waiting, gather has nothing to show me.

I start to click the reload button on my browser to start it all over again, but I'm tired.  Maybe I'll try it again later.  This gather thing is exhausting.  Well, at least I got my chores done.
