There was a lass of ignoble birth
Did not let it quantify her worth
From dusk to dawn to she toiled mightily
To enrich her life with steadfast vitality
No more a caring person to be found
In her life lessons most profound
Give to others even though yours be dire
For who knows what you may inspire
Give until you think you can give no more
In that effort you will save many souls ashore
Take away one lesson from her example fine
To give of oneself is gracefully divine
