Jessica and know its not the same but my Hubby is out all the time. He is very (Oy what do you call it) extroverted and I am more introverted, at leastv ITL.
yeah, chana... it's kinda surreal when i have to say my hubby is in prison..... people automatically think horrible things... it was actually a white collar crime... he has a masters degree in finance and is NOT doing well with all the street people on the inside....
chana, my letters are almost completely rubbed off of my computer keyboard from doing medical transcription and chacha for so long on it lol! people hate using my computer because they have to hunt and peck, but can't even do that on my keyboard!
yeah, gwen... it's hard... i mean, we don't feel "better" than the other cons in there, because yes, hubby did something that he must pay for... but, so many of those cons in there have grown up on the streets and are in for violent or drug-related crimes that we just can't relate to at all... i think it's the whole social scene that is hard for hubs... he just can't really relate to anyone on the inside
i didn't make top guide last week because i was busy with my other job... but, i'll never let THAT happen again... going from 20 cents to 10 cents per question is NOT FUN
I haven't logged into my chacha for a long time now. I was getting really frustrated with it, cause there was nothing there. I saw the high volume alert email haha
Jessica that reminds me of Wesley Snipes. He got 3 years for tax evasion. I realize that is wrong and its a crime, but oh yeah he is a real hardened criminal!
yeah, chacha has been having some major issues lately with no questions coming in... i think it's just an effect of the economy or something and too many guides working with too few questions to go around
Hi Jessica. I hope that you had a nice Christmas. I read you're feeling a bit down, and I know its hard with your hubby in prison. Thank you for your kind comment on my article.
he was just worried about the upcoming holidays and how we would all fare with him being in prison... it's been hard, but he is so blessed because he has such a large family and friend support network... a lot of the cons on the inside have NO ONE
thank you so much, cheryl! and you are welcome! yes, it's been a little hard, but chatting here on gather has really perked me up... it's nice to just talk with others when you're feeling down
Many years ago, I got a DUI and had to spend a few days at the county jail. The other people in there terrified me. My heart goes out to him and you, of course.
lol ok I will say, that once I dated a man and his last name was Jolly. I would of been Holli Jolly...and a girl I went to school with her name is Mary, she married a guy who's last name is Christmas..no joke! Her brother set them up as a joke, cause of his last name, and lo and behold, she is now Mary Christmas
yes, it is terrifying, gwen... ugh, they would have to put me in a straight jacket if i ever had to go to jail! LOL! i don't know how my hubby deals with it
Not making top guide and going to 10 cents does really take the steam out of things. I have only missed once and I don't want to do that again. Luckily, I haven't had a lot of the technical issues that others had.
thank you for telling me that, robbie... it's definitely not fun for the person in prison, but for us left on the outside, it's almost like we're in prison, too :(
That is probably why i stopped doing ChaCha, cause i didn't make top guide and only 10 cents didn't seem worth it...I hadn't gotten back to back for a long time now, and I have so many keywords it isn't funny!
yeah, luckily, in the next few months, hubby will get honor visits... which includes actual physical contact! Yay! hugs and kisses and holding hands with a face-to-face 2-hour visit and i can bring him any food he wants from the outside...
I am off the subject, sorry...I am so sorry that your husband is in jail, my heart goes out to you...my ex husband did something terrible...he didn't spend any time in jail, although anyone who does that crime, I believe should be in prison for a long time, but he is probabtion right now..has been for 2 years....its not easy, I can't imagine what it would be like to have someone you love in prison, my heart goes to you to Robbie.
The mistakes that my mom made make me stronger. I love her no less because of what she did. I love her the same, because between all of us, we ALL screw up from time to time
i agree, robbie... i love my husband 100% regardless... EVERYONE makes mistakes, and you are never a "bad" person just because you are in prison (well, there are some really truly bad people there), but the mistake does not MAKE the person... this experience has really made me stronger, too.
thanks for that, holli... probation is bad, too... i hope your hubby sticks to the rules and gets through the probation with no problem :)
One day when I have time to do it, Ill write an article about it...Ill give Gather and its members my life story, or some of it anyways...It would be a good way to share the love and blessings ive been given
You are right, robbie, NO ONE is perfect. I have done some really stupid and/or awful things in my life. Thankfully, I stopped drinking, so those things are more or less behind me.
Not my husband, my ex husband...but what he did has a big part of why we divorced...i know that everyone makes mistakes...but this is in my opionon almost unforgivable...it has affeceted so many people...so, so many...including myself. Thanks for that Gwen!
You guys are making me kind of sad. I am estranged from my family. Its a really long story. But basically my mom does not want to believe something that is true and happened. I guess I should give her a all tomorrow.
You make a great point Jessica, because I think I speak to my mother, who is in prison, more than any other family member I have. The ones who really love you stick by your side, yes, you are very right.
I guess I just don't have the patience to sit and wait forever for a question...i will give it a try again this weekend though probably, I won't have anything better to do. im all alone this weekend

Have a great night, everyone!
would be nice to buy a new pair of tennis shoes!
I am your 411 girl and once in a while, your definition girl:)
thanks for that, holli... probation is bad, too... i hope your hubby sticks to the rules and gets through the probation with no problem :)
