promises to keep 100 word stories week 39 Challenge

It was dark, damp, and cool, in a dreamland that was not of her making.  There were distant voices humming in the background - dry, crackling - broken eggs, dead leaves, brittle bones ...

No, this dreamland was definitely not of her making.  But she was here; it would be her responsibility to make things right.

Theta World.  Theta World.

Two words repeating in her mind, drawn on the wall, whispered over a nearly silent radio ...

Theta World.

Something to remember.  Something to plan, to do ...

And then, another phrase fades in from the cacophony,
"but I have promises to keep ..."

Kenna ... Theta World is another way to say dream world. Our brain produces theta waves in dream sleep ; )

Okay Michelle this needs to be written. An excellent opener for a sci-fi. Two suggestions. Every November a group called the National November Writers Month has a contest. Its to write 50,000 words by the end of November. I started it this year and got to 15000 but had a family crisis and it went by the way side. It was incredibly motivating.
The second thing that makes writing a novel easier is getting a little program that helps you write and organize what you write ywriter. Just google that and it will take you to a site that has a free download for the program. Just check it out and give it a whirl then I want to finish reading this story!
