You rarely see a depressed beaver (July 19, 2008)

It's me again, sorting out my to-do list and getting ready for another busy, busy day. So far, my Gather-related priorities are:

The Big Four. Comment Speedway, in particular, needs some serious cleaning out. I tried opening the article list last night and my computer ground to a halt just loading the part of the list with nine or more comments. Rating Resurrectionists could use more attention too -- the list of articles above five ratings is much higher than the list of those below.

Comment Speedway - Help This Member. Should've done this yesterday, but see aforementioned problem.

The Chain Game - A-Z Chain. Ah, the perennial favorite of Gatherers and the perennial enemy of cranky emo Gatherers.

Rating Resurrectionists - Need More Ratings. I might have to do some clearing first, because this group is getting uncomfortably full of uncleared materials, too.

Comment Speedway - Comment Ignition. I might give this one a miss this week - it doesn't really do very well in comparison to the others, and frankly, I'm pretty bogged down as it is. Maybe if I've got time.

I also definitely need to catch up on my mail today - hopefully there won't be any major interruptions (and my mail system will stop doing its annoying 'let's stop functioning' bit.) I also need to figure out how to convert priority envelopes into regular envelopes -- I just sold a sixth item, this time from Goozex, and I don't have any normal envelopes on-hand. (Technically, that's 'traded', not 'sold', but it's worth 100 points (equivalent of $5.)) I'll put it out in the post with the rest of the packages.

I'm still giving away free MP3 downloads and a free used book, incidentally - whoever wins the free used book will have it put in the mail at the same time as my other packages, and whoever wins the free MP3 downloads will receive the download code in their Gather mail.

Anyhow, off to work on clearing this backlog up - wish me luck!
