Timber!!!! Photo Essay

Early this morning they began cutting down a huge tree on the corner near my house. The tree was in rough shape and a large limb had crashed to the ground last week.  As we waited for the school bus to come, it was fun to watch how they artfully got the enormous limbs down. It looked like a trapeze act from the circus.  For those of you that like power tools, here is a photo essay of the tree coming down.

It's kind of fun to watch this process. We've had a few taken down from our property over the years. Wopuldn't want to do that kind of work. Enjoyed this!

We had some huge trees taken down by our house too. I was mesmerized watching them slowly take them down, and glad I didn't have to work at such great heights.
