Money for Nothing... Nice While it Lasted.

I won! I won! I cried gleefully,

jumping up and down with joy...

and then I cashed my ticket in

so I could buy lots of toys.

My friends and family all came by...

to share in my good luck:

it wasn't long before I found

I was down to my last buck.

Most of what I'd spent it on

was already broke down -

lost, stolen or just worn out,

and I felt like a clown!

I had not taken time to put

a bit aside for later...

and that is why I'm working here

tonight as your humble waiter.
