Calling all military families

Hi, I would like to connect with some other military families. If you or someone close to you is in the military, feel free to tell a little bit about yourself, and connect to me. You can also connect to each other here.

I'll start by telling a little bit about my family.

My husband will be sewing on his Staff Sergeant stripe (E-5) in the spring. He's been in the Air Force for almost 4 years. Minot, ND is the only duty station we've had so far. We're roughly 1100 miles from where we both grew up. We have one little boy who will be 2 in February.

my husband is in the army, have been for nearly 15 years now. It is tough being a spouse to a the military but worth it.

My husband as well as my father are both in the army, dad has been in for almost 20 years, and hubby is working on 4. we have a baby boy due Dec 4

I was married to a warrent officer in Special Forces for 24 years. We divorced when he retired. We lived in Panama for 16 years and just loved it. there.

Hi Carla! I am no longer a military dependent but was for all of my growing up years as my Dad was a helicopter pilot in the Army for 30 years! He served in Korea on one tour and Viet Nam on 3 tours. We are lucky we still have him with us! We lived all over the United States, Germany, and Okinawa. We loved the military lifestyle albeit difficult for us all with all of our moves but was well worth it in all of our opinions.

Want to say Thanks for your husband serving in the military because it is difficult being so far away from family and loved ones but again its the price one pays for being a soldier. May God bless you and your family!
