Atlas Acts

I thought I'd have some simple fun. Its not in response to any challenge, at least not one outwardly offered.  You're welcome to offer improvements.

At last he acts as Atlas

Awkward and accepting the awful accumulation

Baring the blue biosphere, his back bowed not

Broken, bared not bowed, the baneful

Creatures crowd, confidence cancelled, they congregate cautiously

Deceitful deniers of duties they dismissed dispassionately

Earlier escapades exaggerate their eagerness to escape, these

Fawning fools or frightened  failures flaunting now flaccid friendships

Gathering ill-gotten golden gods, greedily grabbed their grifters gain

while Atlas acts at last

bent by the borne blue biosphere

cautiously confident

he dutifully dare not dismiss

the exaggerated eagerness

of frightened fools

as gentle good guys at the gate

of heaven

at last as he acts
