Super duper

New York City truly has it all-- restaurants, museums, theater... all of the best things in life. Yes, we New Yorkers have it all and now, we even have super heroes. Yes, you read that right. We have real life actual super heroes-- grown men and women all dressed up in full regalia-- apparently roaming Times Square. As the New York Times reports, we've got "Street Hero" who protects our prostitutes, "Direction Man" who helps tourists out with, well, directions, and "Red Justice," who patrols the subways looking for young people who should give up their seats to the elderly and pregnant women.

All of this talk of super heroes has really got me thinking. If you were a super hero, who would you be and what would your super powers be?

If I am a Superhero, I would choose a writing as an alter ego(to start), from where I could write alot of things(never to forget substantial do-good situational matters) ''having the leverage''.

hmmm...

I'll say ''AUSPICE'' as the heavely powers(dower), and what you state could be the goals of having one.

Brenda, you're so right, New York has lots of Super Heroes. If I were one I'd be Subway Girl! Subway Girl - Able to leap over elevated subway stations at a single bound; Subway Girl - Faster than a speeding rat; Subway Girl - Able to push those perverts out of a subway car before the doors closed; Subway Girl - Able to jump the turnstiles before the police spots her; Subway Girl - In real life a mild mannered proofreader checking financial reports but with her Subway Girl uniform on she protects everyone climbing down the stairs into the station; Subway Girl - Ready to .... ahhh, you get the message.

I would be Underwatergirl! A total klutz on land, but unstoppable in a pool, a lake, a puddle, the Pacific Ocean, or any other body of water. I'd swim all over the world to fight poverty and injustice.

Mmm, I guess I'd have to have some dryland powers, too. Good negotiation skills, maybe?
