I got the pleasure of being part of my daughters kindergarten Halloween party last Friday afternoon. It was a foreign world to me, but I actually ended up having a good time with all of the kids.
I walked in as one of the volunteers and was assigned to the craft table. I got to help the kids make spooky ghost lights out of empty milk jugs. We used clear Christmas lights to put inside of them and they turned out really cute. The kids got to make their own faces on each of their jugs.

One of my daughters favorite things about the party was getting to dress up the kindergarten teacher in crazy wigs and clothes. The kids were giggling and screaming as their teacher paraded around the room in the silly outfits they picked for her.

One of the Moms brought in some really cute leaf cupcakes for a treat.

The kids enjoyed snacks and fruit juice at one of the stations in their classroom.

Here is my daughter in the front enjoying snacks with some of her friends.

Here I am with my daughter/friends at the snack table.

Here's a shot of my daughter and some of the girls in her class. They are outnumbered as their are 17 boys in the class and only 8 girls.

At the end of the party the teacher read the kids a spooky Halloween story and we turned off the lights and let them all see the spooky ghost lights they had created. Here is Maddie listening to the story. It was neat to be a part of her special day.
