My daughter is 27 months old. I think she's almost ready for some serious potty training. Other kids at daycare are training, so she's trying to copy them, and sits on her potty chair a few times a day. So far she has only gone potty once. She also doesn't like to lay down and let me put on a diaper. She will use pull-ups though. Of course, they are more expensive than diapers.
I thought about buying the cloth training pants by Kushies but they are kind of expensive, and then what would I do with them after she was trained?
My other thought was maybe I could have her wear underwear underneath her pull-up. That way she would feel when she was wet, which she doesn't with the absorbent pullups on. Has anyone ever tried that? I'm concerned that maybe the pullup wouldn't absorb the wetness then and it would end up leaking all over.

Just be pleased when she succeeds. :-)
if you don't think the pull ups are absorbent enough, make sure you take her to the potty every hour.
sorry i can't be more help. good luck!! :)
I hope she does good. I heard about those potty chairs you get that after they flush they get a sticker or candy but my cousins daughter would just go flush to take the candy so they dont work so well
When you have at least three days to dedicate solely to her, start then. Explain to her that she's a big girl now and that pull ups are gone. Since she doesn't like diapers, tell her that she still have to wear them only when it's nap/bed time in case she has an accident.
Set a timer for every 15 minutes. Ask to her sit on the potty. When she does go, jump up and down, applaud, squeal.... anything to make her feel like she's number one and is awesome.
The next day, move the timer to 30 minutes, the next day 45 minutes...
I have successfully trained SEVERAL children with potty training. You cannot give up on her either.
Purchase a ton of panties; let her help you. Places like Babies R Us and Toys R Us and Sears have potty training panties too.
When she goes to bed at night, put her panties over the diaper to help her remember she's potty training too.
And, stay home during the initial process. She doesn't need any added stress.
My daughter was the difficult one. She was stubborn and things had to be done on her time. She wore the pull ups for a few months.
Both my kids were dry at night though.
Good Luck!!!!!!!
My son will go pee on the potty now, but sometimes he still has accidents.
