Is there one accomplishment in your life that you are most proud of?

For me, I'm most proud of the way I'm raising my son. He's very polite and well behaved, and is extremely intelligent. He will be 3 in January, and he can already read. He's learning to speak Spanish as well as English. He knows the alphabet and all the sounds the letters make. He can count in English and Spanish. He knows his shapes and colors, etc. So, for me, watching him grow into an accomplished, intelligent, polite young man is my best accomplishment.

I got pregnant when I was 15. I promised my parents I would stay in school and graduate. I did. My son Shawn came to my graduation at the age of 2. Now he has three kids of his own.

My proudest accomplishment is raising two wonderful children, who like what they see when they look in the mirror. And are capable of taking care of themselves.

I'm most proud of my children. People are amazed that they are so well behaved. They are like yours are Jill. They are very polite and smart and well behaved in public. At home is another matter, but they are still my biggest joy in life.

Well, I am not a mom, but that is okay.

I guess that you could say that I am proud that I got this far. I had an unhappy childhood and then spent years running from that and beating myself up in one way or another. I am pleasantly amazed that I am here today, stable and happy:) Grateful too!

like you Jill, I am proud to have raised my children well. I have three that have never been in Jail. Never were on drugs. All know how to work and take care of themselves. Two have college educations. My daughter Tracy makes just as much money without the college. When they come home it is to visit, not with their hands out for money. I am so proud of them. My granddaughter will turn 18 next year. My only regreat is not living close so I could spend more time with her.

I would say my two boys. Besides these two wonderful sons, I would say it would be finishing my bachelor degree, even though I had my son during my second year, and even better finishing with a 3.9 at the top of my class.

I am also most proud of my daughter and how I am raising her. She is 19 months old and is my absolute joy! I'm also pregnant with my second child and can't wait to see them both interact together. I'm also proud of the man I chose to be my husband. He is wonderful to me and our daughter.

I am most proud of the fact that I never got into drugs or alcohol. I am proud that I am raising my children the same way.

My oldest is 18, graduated and working full time. I am proud of that.

Well my daughter is the obvious answer - but it's true - there are so many things that I do differently for her that I regret not having when I was growing up. My parents never pushed education & college and I am so glad that her Kindergarten makes her have homework - if I had had these "study" skills at an early age - I wouldn't be so petrified of going to college myself now.

My daughter is well behaved as well - at the age of two she could recite (3) her "rules" for you:
(1) Share,(2) Take turns & (3) Don't be naughty
and the "Golden" rules in our home??
Naughty Girls get Nothing
Good girls get Good things
**We are not always talking material things here either - it could be a movie or buidling forts with daddy or staying up 1/2 hour later on the weekend - small things like that.

I think my greatest accomplishment so far is that I've stayed in school for this long. I don't enjoy going to college and taking classes that I don't care about, but I'm trying to see the bigger picture and carry on.

Mine is also my children - now 21 and 23. They are intelligent, curious, polite, fun, kind human beings who are working hard to give back to the people and the world around them. I could not be prouder of them.

Raising a gifted child and making my writing dreams come true.
It would definately be my children, though I'm not so sure how much credit I can take for them! They were gifts from God, and He made them perfect! :-)
