What Is Happening Today On Gather - Thursday November 6, 2008

The election is over and it is now time to pick up this great country of ours and get it back on track.  It will take all of us as individuals working together to accomplish this great task. What are you planning on doing to help get the country back on track in your part of the country?

BOO!  Gather's Spooktacular Halloween Costume Contest

Gather and the folks at "Got Milk?" are teaming up to bring you a hauntingly good Halloween costume contest. Just share pictures of you and your family decked out in your Halloween duds and enter the appropriate category:

• Cutest Kids
• Family Fun
• Precious Pets
• Most Creative
• Milk Mustache (Photoshop allowed)
  

The five most-viewed entries in each category will move on to the finals and be reviewed by a panel of judges (ghosts, goblins, and witches, of course!) The Gather judges will then select a winning photo from each category.  Entry period: Wednesday, October 29^th @9am ET - Thursday, November 6^th @ 11:59pm ET  

 Share Your Child's Afterschool Activities and Win an Incredible Prize!

Do your kids participate in afterschool activities? There are so many to choose from and kids love them! Maybe they play soccer, take singing lessons, are on the debate team, or belong to the Cub Scouts!  I'm sure whatever they participate in, they really enjoy it - and we want to hear about it! Novembers pinging contest is this! Ping Dan and tell him what are you thankful for? You must also tell reasons why you chose that answer, like the favorite tv shows and why. So when you ping Dan telling him what you are thankful for, don't tell him why you chose your answer, but how your answer impacted your life!
