Sorry for the wait on that. I have a colleague working on this as we speak. All the points should be allocated shortly... certainly by the end of today.
Also, Safari is not letting me get into gather at all. I always have to use Firefox...just thought you should know.

After you've uploaded all the photos for your article, they'll be in that "tray" beneath your article text. Click on the one(s) you want larger and it will open that photo up in a new window. Drag the image from the new window into your article and drop it where you want it to be. That's all there is to it. I think you can also enlarge photos in an article by clicking on them (once they're in the publishing box) and pulling out a corner to enlarge, but then you lose quality and risk distortion. I use Firefox to publish as well, because Safari has publishing limitations. I use Safari to browse and comment because Firefox has browsing limitations.
