Our power was off for three days as a result of major storms. We had high winds, lightning, hail and rain. Many trees just uprooted from the saturated ground. The power finally came on Saturday night only to go out again an hour later.
Our land Line phones were out as well. Cell phones came and went. We just never knew when we had service. I was finally able to get a hold of Victoria so she could do the Today On Gather article. Thankfully I told her what I needed her to do before the phone cut off again. She does a wonderful job.
We were prepared the best we could be but we still lost a lot of food in the freezer. Could you live comfortably if your power and phones were out for three days in the 90 degree temperatures? The storms have been getting more violent with each year that goes by.

Triple Points Monday
I checked on my 95 year old neighbor....she was most unhappy but was reading and OK. I can't imagine being without for 3 days....glad you have it back...but not as glad as you are!......
When our power goes out, we can't even run water or flush toilets because of the sump pump. But it could be worse--it could be winter.
We lost a couple huge trees. Thank goodness my car was in the garage!
By the way, we're in Michigan.
I don't think I could make it three days without electricity. We are not equipped at my house to do that. I would have to go stay with someone.
I would be fine without phone and t.v. but food would be a factor for me.
a long time. Hope the food in your fridge and freezer didnt' go bad
or that you have a generator for backup. Thank for preparing this
info it is much appreciated my dear friend.
