If you come to a Sign In page without the Sign In box, click the "sign out" link in the upper right corner of the page, and then sign in again. This may work for you.
If you are still unable to access your earnings, please send an email to Gather Member Support at support@gather.com, and be certain to provide your Gather username (xxxxxx.gather.com) in the message.
For members (like myself) that are currently using these RSS feeds:
a) When will the member feed no longer be updated?
b) Will RSS for groups also be removed at some point?
c) Is the return of RSS planned, or is Gather moving away from providing syndication for our content?

Is there any plan to lengthen the reset time on the feeds? Currently it's about 24 hours. Several days would be nice. A week would be ideal.
I will let you know as soon as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, we are not able to transfer Gather Points from one member account to another.
Hawthorne sucks.
Fix it.
I click on my points in the sidebar, like we're supposed to, and it tells me I have to "log in" on that page, like I always had to before (security stuff, no big deal, I'm fine with it).
However, the problem is the log in box that USED to be on that page, is missing... and in order to even view the rewards... you have to log into THAT box (in addition to already being logged into gather).
Sooooo that might clarify as to why Kevin's advice doesn't exactly help us.

What's up with inbound feeds? My feed from kitchenMage is supposed to post automatically and yet stuff is not showing up. I think the last post was 2 days ago and my feeds are set to collect every hour or two so I know it's not my side. This flakiness has been an ongoing problem and all of my private messages, mostly to Jason, who set it up, have gone unanswered.
Help! (or else I'll post a 'Question, Suggestion or Idea to Share' about Hawthorne and you don't want me to go there...really.)

Yes, I will provide a further update when I have more information. The patch was indeed deployed yesterday afternoon, but I was waiting for clarification on precisely what we should expect from it. I believe that the patch should - in the future - prevent Google from indexing the "next" link that appears at the bottom of member's profile feeds. It was that first "next" view of the feed that was showing up in Google searches. Google will unfortunately still display these in search results until Google itself updates to reflect Gather's change (which could take weeks I'm afraid).
You mean to tell me that people are going to know that on Apr 14, 2008 at 1:11AM EDT, I thought Mr. Mac Mr. Mac was cooler than me!? This is unacceptable!

Actually, I believe that it's Jennifer Hodge that runs the RSS feeds (that is what you're talking about, correct?) Not Jason. Jason doesn't get to play with computers anymore ;)
In all seriousness, there's a glitch with inbound RSS, so I know that Jennifer's been turning off a lot of feeds. Members who imported blogs were having their postings published several times on Gather. Please remind me on Monday - I'll check with Jennifer then about your specific feed.
