I do hope each of you had a wonderful weekend. I know I did. I love it when my family are all home. Family is so very important to me. Can you believe that it is already the 24th of March? Where does the time go?
I am glad you are here. This week is no different from the weeks in the past. The Gather Community continues to grow. It just keeps getting more exciting to be a member, as the days go by. There is always something here for each of you . It does not matter what you are looking for, I am sure you will be able to find it, somewhere in the Gather Community.
Did you notice as you came in the front yard that my daffodils are blooming? Spring is beginning to show its presence. Would you like a refill on that Peppermint Herbal tea? It is a great time to be alive!
Important Notice:
There has been a Time Change for the Oprah Discussion. The live discussions will now be held on Tuesdays at 7 PM Eastern Time. This Tuesday, March 25th the discussion will be on Chapter 4 of Oprah's Book Club pick by Eckhart Tolle "A New Earth." If you missed previous chats on the book, you can read them at the A New Earth group. Be sure to update the time in your day planners or on your calendars. You won't want to miss it. If you have not joined the chat in the past, it is never too late. This week the live discussion will be hosted by LisaGensheimer. This week would be a great week for you to begin chatting on A New Earth.
In Friday's edition of Today On Gather, I told you about the chat on the book "To Kill A Mockingbird." I contacted Julia Schrenkler concerning the book-club chats. The book-club chats occur when there are five Friday's in that particular month. The Radio show will talk about the book for an hour and then the live chat will follow the radio chat. This chat is set up like a discussion of sorts, so everyone can feel at ease giving their personal opinions on the book being reviewed that day. You can learn more about these book-club discussions at the groups listed on Friday's edition of Today On Gather. These discussions are open to anyone who wants to join in. I will keep you updated more as the next discussion gets ready to begin.
