I would like to welcome YOU to "Today On Gather." Grab a seat and we will chat a bit. My goal is to keep you informed and updated on all the things that are happening around YOUR Gather Community. If you enjoy reading, I have some wonderful news to share with you! Just keep reading, YOU may find something of interest to YOU.
1. Do YOU find yourself getting depressed or anxious in winter months when you are not able to do the things you normally enjoy doing? Harvard Health Publications is offering a Free copy of "Understanding Depression" to 10 random members who comment on the article "What Soothes You When You're Anxious or Depressed? Tell Us, and Win a Free Special Health Report."
YOU will need to hurry on this one because all comments have to be in by Wednesday March 5th to be eligible. Sorry for the late notice but I was unaware of this one. I will try to keep on top of things better just for YOU.
2. Have YOU joined the group Fiction Readers yet? Each month there are different book discussions. It is like having our own Gather Book Club, just for YOU. We do not meet in each others home though. We meet online. So hurry over and check it out. You can even win Free books.
There are currently several new authors including Gigi Anders , author of Little Pink Raincoat.
Another exciting new author to the group is Caro Peacock, author of A Foreign Affair.
While you are there, you will want to be sure and check out Mameve Medwed, author of "The End Of An Error"
You will also find Dorothea (Dot) Benton Frank.
Dot is the author of the New York Times Bestseller "The Land of Mango Sunsets."
This is a great group for YOU to participate in if you love to read and chat about the books you read. So hurry on over to the group and see what is available for YOU. Be sure to check out the "Today On Gather" article each day to hear about all the event that are currently being planned with YOU in mind. There will be book club discussions, author interviews and live chats. YOU really will not want to miss any of them.
3. Keeping with the theme of "Reading, Have you heard the good news about The Collins Group? They too have new authors! So hurry on over to the Collins Group and join in the discussions from YOUR favorite authors and books. The Collins Group is all about empowerment for YOU. These new authors include the following:

Cait Murphy is the author of "Baseball and Crazy 08"
Ed Ugel is the author of "Money For Nothing"
4. Our own Money Maven, Ms Meacham posts an article each week called "The Bottom Line". Ms Meacham is a journalist and an expert on money matters. This week her article is called "401 (K) ripoffs per Terry Savage." Ms Meacham has a wonderful ability to make matters of money sound simpler. She explains money in simple terms and if you have questions, she is great at answering them. She puts her heart and soul into her writing.

There are NO Gather Guides. I am not a gather guide. I am simply posting the Today On Gather articles each weekday to keep you, the gather community, up to date.
