I wanted to take a minute to brag about my daughter (5th grade) as well. Jordyn has to work a touch harder than Jayden but she also has skipped a grade so she is working a grade ahead and she has maintained and improved in all areas on her report card as well! She is gifted but seems to have a bit of her dad's ADD at times....LOL
"Jordyn continues to do splendid work. She is capable of reading sixth grade level texts with support, although some of her reading assessments reveal inconsistent scores. Her math test scores are some of the highest in the class. She can do very good work, with minimum effort. I would like to see what maximum effort could do!" She has recently begun a new regimen of keeping her desk and backpack organized which earned her the title 'Student of the Week'. Keep up the good work!"
Can't argue too much with that either! Oh....and she made Honor Roll!

Now that my son is 15 and a junior in high school, I'm not sure it was a good thing for him to skip a grade...he'll graduate next year, before he turns 17....
