My husband and I were watching a live broadcast of Presidential candidate McCain addressing an audience earlier today. At first, I noticed the Florida state flag behind him but wasn't really looking at the captions the news folks put up about the actual location. I know this flag well -- my kids and I had to make it in Cub Scouts a few times!
He began speaking and in his first sentence, he greets the people of "Sun City, South Carolina"! Ooops. He just managed to insult the entire live and television audience before his speech ever got going. I'm sorry, but if a guy can't even remember which city or state he is standing in, I have to wonder how he would do in the White House! Senility is not a prerequisite for the oval office, last time I checked. Scary stuff.

Sorry, but surely you can do better than this?! Right?
It was a simple slip of the tongue; give the guy a break. Geeeez! I'm sure the McCain people would be VERY happy if that's the worst thing he screws up. I have my own issues with McCain, but simply calling out the wrong state/city name is NOT one of them. Embarassing yes, but not anything to write an article about - good grief.
If you need "decent" material to write about McCain and his flip-flops on issues, I can provide you with plenty. There's a lot that can be said about McCain, but "he's too old" is NOT one of them. That man has more energy than most 30 somethings, and he's still razor sharp in the mind as well; though probably a good deal "taxed" right now as to exactly what "stop" they're in. LOL!
It's time for Florida to put an end to John Mccain's white house hopes once and for all. The man is a petty liar and not fit to be president. He needs to go backto Az and keep his mouth shut.
