Last Friday my sons and I went to Jungle Island in Miami together with my childhood friend Marianne. Jungle Island used to be Parrot Island, and there were so many beautiful birds.
You did a wonderful job of capturing all that colorful plumage - I love birds and love their radiance - thanks for letting us go on that trip with you! Salud.
I went to Parrot Jungle in 1991 (that's when it was still called it's old name). I had heard it closed. So it's good to know in fact it just got a new name. Is it still in the Coral Gables area? Or did it also relocate?

Marianne, it is by the McArthur bridge in Miami.
