Well, how about that.  I won the Turkey Sandwich Recipe Contest hosted by Susan B.  at Because of all the Sandwiches There Group.

A delicious sandwich, I saw the pictures at the contest site and it looks yummy. Makes me wish I liked mushrooms. You will love Rachel Ray's cookbook. I have several.

Congrats! I was glad to see both of my entries in the finals but I am glad you won, Marilyn. Enjoy Rachael's cookbook - I have most of them and there are some wonderful recipes and jumpoff points to have a great meal.

It is good. The vegetarian version, without turkey, is something my son introduced me to - from the restaurant Penn Station. We discovered that we could make it just as well at home and save a bundle. :-) But in thinking about what to do with left over turkey, I figured the tastes of mushroom, artichokes and cheese would go well with the turkey. I was right.
