I found a cure for snooping.

Oh I have a big snooper in my life.  This child snoops all the time, not just at this time of year but always.  She looks in my purse, glove compartment in my car and when she is in my home she has her nose into ever nook and cranny.  I have tried to gently tell her mother that this is a very rude habit and that I would appreciate if she would speak to her daughter about it.  Nothing, Nadda, Zip.  So I sat  the child down and said, Look it,  I really do not like you going through my personal space and its rude, you need to stop it.

She said that she is allowed to do it everywhere else including school (I doubt it) so what's the big deal.  I knew I was getting no where with a child who as reasoned it out that she is entitled to do as she pleases everywhere and however she ants.

Well, I thought I will at least cure it from happening here.  I had told her often that she is not allowed in certain rooms of my house etc.  I rigged these rooms with a wide series of traps for this snooper.  She was playing with my children then all of a sudden I heard the sound that I really had hoped I would not hear, the alarm going off.  A loud jangle of a kiddy alarm that I had set on 4 of the drawers in my bedroom.  I entered the room to find the quilty child hands over ears tears on face, and mad as hell to have been tricked and caught.  Needless to say the child will never snoop at my house again and the mom asked where to get a couple of these for her own home to use.
