It's So Hard To Find A Good Book These Days...

Last night I was making a snack and told my daughter to pick out a book and Mom would read it to her. I was only in the kitchen for a minute or two making toast and my Husband was in the same room as my daughter. When I walked back into the living room I found my baby in a massive pile of books that she had removed from the bookshelf. She sorted through the books and even stopped to open some as if reading them. She must have spent an hour playing in the mess she had made. It was just so cute that I had to take pictures and now I will post a few of them here to share the moment! Hope you enjoy these.

In the end she decided on raisins and banana bread as a snack and no book at all! She did play in them for an hour though!

My son used to do the same thing. He would sit and look at each picture. he was about 4 when he stopped doing that. his sisters and i would have to clean them up.

I know my son was going to be smart but the age 5 concussion about took him back to age 2. The school is saying that maybe he was "meant" to be so slow. Not if he read books from 1 until 4, and with us moving his books up one shelve as soon as he could reach it. LOL

Great pictures. Your little girl is adorable. Reminds me of my daughter. She didn't get hair until she was 3-1/2. When it finally started to grow, I never wanted to cut it!!!

Makes me think of my daughter! In the morning after I clean her up after breakfast I will put her down & tell her to go play (she is only 16 months) and she will walk into her room & pick out books to read. She is so cute! She will bring me a book to read now & then & I welcome it every time! I think it's so sweet!
