Kyleigh's Story - Standing Up!

For weeks, Kyleigh has been trying to pull herself to stand up by grabbing my clothes or my legs. Today she finally succeeded for the first time. My husband was playing with her on the floor in the living room. She grabbed daddy's pants and pulled herself to stand up. We were all very excited.

Unfortunately the excitement ended with tears. She lost her balance and my husband accidentally hit her face with his fingers when he tried to grab her as she was falling down.

That sounds like my little niece Kalispell (Takeaspill?). We just don't get too see her enough, though. Have fun and if all else fails, you could try one of those cushy bite suits that the cops use -- maybe they have a smaller size?! Thanks for posting this.

That's great news! They'll be plenty more of those oppsie moments. Important thing is to watch how you react because if you get all flustered usually the baby does too.
