That's neat Karolyn. I had to leave a lot of my old cds back, when we moved (I wonder if I'll ever see them again), so all we have are a few new ones, but I like the ideas.

My neighbor buys used CD by the box full at yard sales etc...and then she makes SUNSHINES out of them by attaching the styrfome sun rays [little long triangles] to the shiny side with glue and then putting eyes from the craft store on them and attaching string to them and giving them to everyone as friendship gifts. my cats ate mine so I'm going to have to ask her for another one...she also does other tricks with them too, cats faces, dogs etc....very creative.

I've seen them used as wall art, turned into fishes, where the CDs are the scales.
(((o000h! scales! Bad word, so sorry!)))

I'm saving mine up, so I can glue them all to my car and be invisible. I wonder what a whole wall of overlapped CDs would look like? Maybe in a music store? Great distorted images as you walk by--NOT invisible! (((smiles)))
