What I like about these is that you don't need to go out and buy anything; I have most of the supplies in-house, and/or readily available to me.
My nieces and nephews -- the younger ones want things to do when they come to my house. You know how it goes, they are forever, "bored". The video games and such may be okay for home, but not at Auntie's house (I do not get the logic here, but I am certain they do.)
More often than not, they are leading up to drawing because they know about my art supplies. (Oh Brother!!!) They are children, and frankly, I do not want to supervise the messiness that my art supplies may create. Better to give them waterproof paint, crayons -- lead pencils, coloured pencils, than the messy stuff; are you feeling me. Just imagine my ink bottles spilled ALL OVER THE PLACE, the innocent eyes looking up at me, pleading for help, as the parents are about the punish. . .
No, no, no, no!
