Asks Mom of twins Stephanie Wilder-Taylor: What's up with all the celeb twins?

Seems like the stars are seeing double these days! In the last few years we've seen twins born to many A-list celebrities like: Marcia Cross, Diddy,Geena Davis, Patrick Dempsey, Denzel Washington, Al Pacino and Beverly D'Angelo, Dave Matthews, Lance Armstrong, Julia Roberts, Nancy Grace and Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon.

 Plus, Dennis Quaid and his wife (with a surrogate) made news when their twins were given an accidental overdose of the blood thinner, Heparin. And of course, most recently Jennifer Lopez popped out two little Lo's. Rumor has it that even Brangelina may be expecting twins.

So what's up? Is there something in the water or something in the fertility clinic? Hmm.

There are many things that can increase your odds of having a multiple birth, including being over 30 when you conceive, having a maternal family history of multiple births (fraternal), or using fertility treatments. 

So without any of the above factors, what are your chances of having twins spontaneously? A little less than 3%. But, the chances of having twins with the use of fertility treatments can be as high as 20 to 25%!
