I just had my daughter 3 weeks and 3 days ago. I had a c-secton because of problems with my pregnancy. I had a lot of extra amniotic fluid and I got huge! I have lost a little weight so far , but not much. My belly still seems pretty big and my hips are way wider then before my pregnancy. I am breastfeeding which I am told helps in losing the baby weight. I know my body will never be the same as it was before the baby, but I am eager to get down as close in weight as I can. Do you think having had a c-section makes it harder to lose the belly? How long did it take you to lose the baby weight? Do your hips ever go back?

Your daughter is beautiful, CONGRATS! When was she born? My daughter just turned 4 on January 13th.
I had both my kids by c-section, I've lost 30 pounds and am working on another 20 pounds. I still have a pooch!
I've never been pregnant, but my mom has been pregnant almost too many times to count! (Well, ok, I suppose you can count to 12...). It takes her about 6 months or so before she's her normal size again.
Hayden is beautiful...so don't worry about your body be glad it was able to carry her...
Your hubby loves you and it will just take a little time.

Eventually, things DO go back to normal.....I PROMISE! I'm not saying you don't have to work at it, but breastfeeding helps. Whatever breastfeeding doesn't take off will come off once the child starts walking!
