State Government Rep. Tom Brinkman (R-Cincinnati) introduced a bill in the Ohio House which would criminalize an abortion procedure by declaring it a second degree felony for the first offense and a first degree felony on the second.
The bill would also ban the dispensing of RU-486 (mifepristone). - Sec. 2919.123. (A).
Brinkman introduced a similar bill in Ohio's previous legislative session which died in committee.
The new bill has one cosponsor; freshamn Representative John Adams (R-Sidney).

I suspect he will hold to his word. His 'religous' supporters come from the vast swath of moderate Christians in Ohio; and the general belief there is that, although abortion's are disturbing procedures, they need to be kept legal so that they can be regulated.
I just can't stand the guy. The whole anti school choice thing annoys me. I didn't like what the republicans were offering either.
