Andrew Blechman is a world authority on pigeons. Blechman spent a year with people who race them, raise them, hunt them and even eat them. The result is his "Pigeons: The Fascinating Saga of the World's Most Revered and Reviled Bird."
This new tome reminded me of one of my favorite Sesame Street moments: Bert, dancing and singing and ode to his most favorite things in the world.
