Cathryn Jakobsen Ramin was a hard-hitting journalist whose memory began slipping when she hit her forties. Ramin's book "Carved in Sand: When Attention Fails and Memory Fades in Midlife," chronicles her efforts to remedy her condition.

I'm not sure that our memory "slips" so much as we have sooo many files from all our years on the earth that they take a little longer to "access!" (I was told this by my Introduction to Computer Information Systems instructor; he was 70 years young!) That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!
