The movie "Pride" smashes the old stereotype that blacks can't swim. The film is loosely based on the life of Jim Ellis, who created one of the nation's finest swim teams in a poor Philadelphia neighborhood.
Producer Nancy Greenleese met Jim Eillis about a dozen years ago when she did a documentary about him. The story proved to be as much a personal as a professional journey.
