Celebrating the Day

Today was a gorgeous fall day. When I was done with work, Deb and I decided to take advantage of the warm late day light. Camera in hand, we explored a favorite spot, Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park. Come walk with us.

As the light faded we headed back to the car and off to a delightful dinner. It was the perfect way to celebrate this precious day.

Beautiful and your timing couldnt have been better. The sun was at exactly the right angle to enhance your pictures with such interesting shadows.

Lori - it's my favorite time to be out with the camera. Early morning is wonderful as well but the light does tend to be a little colder.

Ha, sure Carolyn (though I will admit to being pretty proud of all the years I've managed to survive). I also find roads really appealing. There is something about that desire to know what is over the hill or around the next curve. Unfortunately, this penchant of mine does tend to get me lost from time to time :)
