I need some answers... My husband and I bought our house this past February and have had fun guessing what the plants were coming up around the house this spring.
In the front of the house there are two large flowering shrubs that I need some help identifying. Below are some pictures, anyone know what they are? They pink flowers are absolutely beautiful, the colors very striking, and brilliant. The stems to the plant are rathery woody, and seem almost like twigs, or a small tree. I think they are great, but would love to be able to put a name to the plant!

I don't know where you live, but it is an excellent shrub for a temperate climate. And you have some very nice photos of it!
We have one out front that was at the house when we bought it. We like it, but it never flowers for very long!
