What green products do you use?

I got the cool light bulbs but they are expensive and I found out TOXIC ( sometimes you just can't win)

I saw a thing on Dateline a few weeks ago. They took two families, one that was all green cleaners, organic food and the whole nine yards and a regular, what is on sale, what works, what's easy family and they tested their blood for all sorts chemicals. Do you know, they had similar toxin levels?

Anyway, just thought that I would throw that in there. I use vinegar and water for most cleaning jobs.

cybergwen is right use vinegar and water is the best thing to clean with. baking soda can also be used to clean items that you would use ajax for. this isn't a cleaning supply but start a compost pile if you have a home. you'll be surprised how much less garbage you have to take out.

I also use vingar and water and it works great. I use baking soda for scrubbing.

A lot of green products are fine but like most other products the costs are inflated.

I do use the Method brand & like it. I also use their laundry soap, it works very well for us.
I also bring my own bags to the grocery store as often as I can remember to!

anything with bleach in it is not good for the environment & should not be used.

I use vinegar and baking soda, some Seventh Generation brand products, and just picked up some BioKleen brand to try. Haven't tried Method. The vinegar and baking soda works pretty well for most things, but I'm still experimenting. I have chemical sensitivities, that's why I originally switched. Can't even handle the chlorine in the tapwater. So I've seen immediate benefit, personally, in not feeling sick every time I clean.
