IF I DIDN’T HAVE A DOG…
- post by Robert B.
I could walk around the lawn barefoot, in safety.
My house could be carpeted instead of laminated.
I wouldn’t get a kennel chorus’ each time the doorbell rang.
I would not be on a first-name basis with all the veterinarians in the county.
My most used vocabulary would not consist of; “stay”, “sit”, “down”, “no”, and “not my good shoes….”

My cargo pants would not be stuffed with poop bags and doggie biscuits.
I wouldn’t have to spell G-O F-O-R A R-I-D-E when talking to other people.
I wouldn’t find myself wading in little ponds at every rest area we stopped at.
The Westminster Dog Show would not pre-empt my regular football programming.
And finally,
If I didn’t have a dog, I would not have a live-in example of God’s Unconditional Love.

They are live-in examples of God's unconditional love!
Featured in the Triple Name Club.
Odors are a dog’s life, and even the residual on George told a story that Shelly wanted to know. She sniffed him, licked him, and acted really happy to see him.
Being in love has cleaned up many a man’s act, and falling in love with a dog did just that for George.
Am so glad she is doing so well after her fall.
There is nothing better than waking up to wet kisses.
Thanks so much for sharing with my group.
love you Icon
